THE CHALLENGE

I-Source Technical Solutions had been serving customers with custom laser stencils and tooling for assembly for 20+ years, although many were unaware of the company’s complementary offerings and technical expertise that could improve their manufacturing processes.

OUTCOME

With content less targeted to individual services, and more on facility-level solutions, customers more readily connect to outcomes. The refocused website integrates the company’s offerings so that visitors naturally find new information. Technical information is easy to find, FAQs within reach.

STRATEGY

Because we had worked with I-Source on their first re-design in 2012, there was plenty of information on traffic and visitor pathways to learn from.

After digging into the stats, we eliminated any under-performing page, and re-wrote the remaining content to focus on the company’s engineering expertise. We added details for frequently asked questions and online forms to make ordering flow on mobile and desktop.

RESULTS

Long-time customers are submitting more RFQs  directly through the website, facilitating more efficient processing of orders. Phone calls for specialized questions are happening further down the funnel, because prospects have more information by the time they get there.  Since launch, Requests for Quote have increased by 56% and inquiries all around are up by 145%.
