To evolve and expand a well-loved business after change of ownership, while keeping a connection to its history and loyal customer base.

Updated visuals and marketing to communicate new and improved products, blended with accessibility and a familiar experience folks had grown to love.

STRATEGY
One particular challenge for this rebrand was how to assert uniqueness with a fairly generic name. Best Framing already had a loyal following, known for quality craftsmanship and fair prices. Our approach was to surround the new identity with narratives that would attach to the name and give it more depth.

The logo redesign uses an old vs. new approach with a simple and legible type pairing. The abbreviated “B” inside an ink spot feels current and speaks to the many artists and designers they work with. It also serves as a reminder of their printing services.
